As soon as possible as the diary gets full. Wedding cakes are often booked 12 months in advance, but this is not essential if we have the date free. To avoid disappointment, it's definitely worthwhile giving us as much notice as possible (especially with wedding cakes) as soon as your venue date is confirmed. We can then ensure that your cake will be ready for your big day.

This especially works for wedding cakes and we find it works best so you know what you can expect. We can suggest ideas and ask any questions you may have in person. How many portions if relevant and the date when you require the cake, and what type of occasion the cake is for.

Tilly Mildred Cakes are here to help you with design, size, flavours and extras. After a brief chat a plan soon comes together.

We usually request a 20% deposit for birthday cakes. For wedding cakes we require £50 to secure your date and booking, then the balance is then due one calendar month before your wedding day. Bank transfers work well for payments, cash payments can also be taken.

 We always set up and deliver wedding cake with care and precision. We can deliver other cakes if arranged with us upon booking. Please state this when you order your cake. Please contact us for further details about delivery of your cake to your chosen venue as they may be a small charge to pay.
